I only use freeze dried blood worms as a treat. Yes, I urge you to try pellets again, perhaps a different brand. Thee are tons, though your brand isn't bad, so I'm surprised!
Try pre soaking them for like 5+ minutes first.
eventually, he's gonna eat. Bettas are notoriously fussy :) you can also tty betta flakes, though they tend to dirty and stink up the tank quicker.

Oh! And tetra brand (surprisingly) is good, I use them, hikari brand is great and loved by many members (n not bio gold, though, they changed the recipe to too little meat!)..ummm...geez, lots! I'm sure many people will come on with recommendations. My bf uses the ones you do and his fish adore them, so maybe keep trying before you buy new ones. :3

I would give pellets a shot again. Maybe get Hikari Betta Bio Gold this time (my bettas didn't like the Wardleys). I would keep trying the pellets every day. If he doesn't eat, then take them out and try again the next day. Eventually he'll figure out, that's what's for dinner. *giggle*
Don't worry about starving him, they can go awhile without food. I wouldn't stay on a bloodworm only diet though. GL!
