Can anyone else see it?

I know ya'll are all probably just sick and tired of me with pics of Butterfly, but it's been 2 weeks today since he tore his fins. I wanted to do a little comparison! :) The first pic was taken last thursday. The second pic was taken a few minutes ago. I'm seeing progress, is anyone else? His dorsal has definitely grown more over the weekend, and his main fin alone is healing well too. I think he will have huge fins again in a month or two. :)

Wow, that looks like it was a bad tear. But I'm glad he's starting to heal! I can definitely see the fin growth on his caudal fin.

The FILTER did that?! Eeesh!

Well, at least he's not a tailbiter. It's heal back up all pretty like before. :)

Haha, ugh, yes, the filter did that, and the first pic was taken a week after it happened! It was worse before that! I had him in the 1.5 gallon tetra tank with a heater and the whisper 3i filter. That filter utterly destroyed his fins! Shiver... poor thing. But he is healing nicely... right now he is particularly spunky, because half and hour agohe got a new tank mate, and he insists on playing tag and nip with the poor new peppered cory catfish. I really hope he stops, I don't want the new guy to die or get hurt, and I really don't want to return him either. Oh well! How's your lovely betta RFS? :)
