Mrs. K~

Non-fish people really don't get it - that our wet pets are like puppy dogs. It's easy to get attached, they're little lives with personalities and habits all their own. When I kept big tanks, I usually had guests ask me "why" I "do this"!! Like it was a chore with no rewards..

Good luck with your new boy!

Well there ya go! Just tell your husband about ME and he will be EVER so grateful for you and your modest wishes!!!

Heck, I wanted a 125 gal. tank in the WORST way, but my husband did put his foot down about that (he was concerned about the weight). Believe me I POUTED, but to no avail.

BTW, I WAS able to get a 75 gal. He went along with that & it is full of African Cichlids - started with 3 babies & now we are up to about 12 or 13. It's a LOVE shack, I tell ya!!!!

he won't move on the betta who are currently in 1 gallon tanks... I'm trying to wear him down on the goldfish he currently told me that they have to live for 2 years before he'll buy them a tank because he doesn't want to spend the money because he swears they'll be dead in a month

Did you happen to see this 5 gal. tank kit for $14.99? Comes with everything except the gravel & heater. I have this tank & it works just fine.

Matter of fact the filter is FANTASTIC since it is adjustable! :)

Of course, shipping is extra & they only have blue left.
