A good picture of Seafood, at last!

After messing around for a while I finally got a good, bright picture of Seafood. He's hanging out on the bottom instead of swimming, but still it shows his colors. Let me know what you think! And what color scheme would he be? He's dark red and blue, but possibly some purple in there too.

p.s. - yes, it's the same pic as my avatar, but I still thought i'd share it!

Wow he is such a beautiful betta:) he is amazing, i like the natural look:) to him.

if i were you i would fast him for just a day or two so he can feel better, because he has a very minor bloat.

I second the fasting thing. Wow, that is a great pic! You can even see his teeth! He's a pretty betta. :)

Is the bloating the bulge on the bottom where the pelvic start, and should that be a smooth curve from body up towards his head?

Yes, it is. It looks like he swallowed a small marble.

There aren't any marbles that small in his tank, but before I got the glass stones I had regular gravel (switched about a week ago). Could it be a piece of gravel?

No no no...you have it all wrong lol, when Sweeda said that he looked like he swallowed a marble, she meant, he is very bloated and should be a little fasted. also im sure he didnt swallow any gravel. anyway. Just dont feed him for a day and see how he looks, bettas bellies are the size of their eyes, so just keep that in mind when feeding them. Try feeding them only 2-3 pellets a day. That will be a perfectly healthy diet.

Good luck with the guy:)

hahah i suppose what popped into my mind was a baby eating a marble. I suppose that couldn't work the same way for a fish :/. hindsight's 20/20 on that one (side note: i've wanted to use that phrase for so long!). I shoulda thought that one through a bit more. it's been a long week of school already
