2 (heaping) Tablespoons of Flour

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a pot and then slowly add one of the two cups of milk and stir in. Then put on low heat and slowly add the other cup of milk. Stir until thickened. Once it thickens add the butter and vanilla.
Serve hot or cold!!
My dad and I made this. We chilled it for a little while but my dad accidentily burnt it some and it tasted like chocolate with roasted nuts. XD I loved it!

Here is an interesting recipe:

Dr. Pepper Cake Recipe

1 cup butter or margarine (butter is better)
1 cup Dr. Pepper soft drink
2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
4 tablespoons cocoa
2 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Dr. Pepper Frosting-
1/2 cup Dr. Pepper soda pop
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter. Add the Dr. Pepper soft drink and stir well. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and marshmallows. Pour the Dr. Pepper mixture over the rest of the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Mix them together well. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a greased 9x12 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
Dr. Pepper Frosting Instructions- Heat Dr. Pepper soda pop, cocoa, and butter or margarine, but don't bring to a hard boil. Stir in rest of ingredients and mix together well. Spread Dr. Pepper frosting on while cake is still hot.
Variation: Use lemon extract instead of vanilla

Variation: Peanut Butter Frosting
6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup chopped, unsalted peanuts
While the cake is baking, cream the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter together. Add the milk and mix well. Add the peanuts. Stir well. Spread over the cake while it is still warm. After cake is frosted, put it under the broiler on the top oven rack (about 4-5 inches from top). Broil for a few seconds only, just until frosting starts to get tiny air bubbles. Watch carefully so as not to burn cake. Let cake cool for about half an hour before eating.

I am going to try this tonight after work since I love doctor pepper. I may not make the frosting I might just use cream cheese frosting I have at home.

I'm about to make this tonight:

Sombrero Pasta Salad
1 Pkg. Spiral Pasta (16oz)
1lb Ground Hamburger
3/4 Cup Water
1 Envelope Taco Seasoning
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
1 Medium Onion (chopped)
Green Onion (to whatever your liking)
1 Medium Tomato (chopped)
2 Cans Sliced Ripe Olives
1 Bottle Catalina Dressing (16oz)

Cook pasta according to the package directions and set aside in a large bowl. Brown the hamburger and drain excess grease. Add water and taco seasoning then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5minutes and then add to the pasta. Add in the onions, tomatoes, olives, green onions, cheese and dressing. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate about an hour then serve. ;)

Mmm that sounds great! I'll show this to my mom. Dad's gonna be gone the entire week next week so we're planning themed dinner days. This could be one of them....

Ooh, that sounds good! Can you use other kinds of dressing or is it best with Catalina?

You could probably use French Dressing too.. but Catalina has a sweeter taste. I prefer Catalina over it, but that's just me.

It turned out good, and I was scared at first since I don't like chocolate cakes. But it doesn't taste like one really.
