Stunning boy! His color pattern reminds me of Poseidon. O.O

Now that I'm looking at him on my computer instead of my phone he's actually not too awful.

His color is decent but the yellow band doesn't go fully around on his caudal fin. His scales just don't seem to lay right... but that could be just me. His ventral fins are awful and that's one of my pet peeves... I wanna see really nice ventrals on my fish.

I guess he COULD be bred... I just think he could be better. It would all depend on how nice his siblings turned out.

Ya I wouldn't want to breed him. But I love his unique look! Unfortunately all my tanks are on hold for future fry lol.. I only have one truly "pet" betta for now (not counting some of my girls).. maybe later I'll have room :)

I REALLY REALY REALLY want to get him... but I just can't justify spending that much on a fish right now and I already said I wasn't going to get any more fish for a while. Ugh... he's so cool though.

3 faults...anal, dorsal, and the scales are off. But his caudel is very nice. If bred to a female without these faults he'd probably produce some nice fry. He is interesting.

Just wait until you attend your first show and it is time for show fish and other fish that were not part of the show to be auctioned off. There are always some very nice fish at IBC shows and you won't believe what price they start the auctions out at.

You can check the dates on the ibc website once its back up.

You can get some awesome fish for cheap at shows. My first show I got a perfect female for a multi male I was also getting for $4 and a dthm first place winner for only $10.... I got two other first placr winners for $26 and $17 respectively... Plus you don't have to pay shipping
