White small creatures in tank

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area, I wasn't sure where else to put it. The other day I got some new plants and a little after I put them in my tank I noticed little white creatures swimming "jumping" about. So far I have noticed quite a bit of them. what could they be? Theres no way I can get a photo of them, they're smaller than a grain of rice. (maybe the size of a piece of sugar?)They're white in color. If I look reaaaal close it almost looks like they have tails. but they're definitely not worms.
help!

Should I take Cleo out of his tank? They don't seem to be bothering him, and he doesn't seem to care to much about thembeing there but i'm worried if they can hurt him.

Are they like little spidery things? I had those on my plants, yearrghhh! They all died after being in my big tank, they croaked.

I was hoping these things were going to die off too...

I can't afford to pitch everything in my tank in the trash.

I am not sure how to get rid of these because i'm not sure what they are.

They are white, about the size of a grain of sugar and it looks almost...almost like they have little tails (they're not worms) and they like to dart across the top of my tank and the bottom.

My fish isn't acting unusual so i'm trying not to worry too much about it....but they're not nice to look at.

are they round? I had some some round things that came in my tank. They were really slow moving when they were on the glass and I squashed them before they could move. Here's a site with some bugs on it. Which ones do they look like?

I have the Freshwater Limpet in mine and they're harmless.

Copepods, I believe that is what they are. From a distance they almost look like scorpions. unfortunately....

hurm, since they are crustaceans you'd think that any copper based meds might kill them.

If that doesn't kill them, then try breaking down the tank, and soaking everything in a 1/10 bleach solution, that will kill them for sure.

Idk what to do if you have live plants.

But honestly i'd try the copper thing first.
