Today after my friend got home from school, we went around time and went into some shops, just looking around. We went to a book store, next to it was a pet shop.
I'd been in this before and it was mostly supplies, it seems they've remodeled and have turned into mostly a fish shop, which was awesome. They had some of the coolest fish I'd seen in a long time (they had two orange fish the size of my HEAD!)
I looked for the bettas almost instantly when I went in, to see what they had. There were 7 glass bowls. Two of the bowls had dead bettas in them, I took them and kindly told the staff worker, he was nice about it and didn't fuss. (one had been dead for awhile, it had mold around him and the water was brown, ew)
One betta partically seemed to like me, and it was like she was begging me to take her, I felt sorry and sad for her, being so tiny, and I feared she'd end up like the other betta. I asked how much they were, all bettas were 3.99. So I snatched her up and left the pet shop.
We stopped at Wal-Mart and I got a Critter Cage, being 2 dollars cheaper then the pet shop.
I'm not sure on how to idenify females, what type of tail is she? I think she might be a veiltail.
I should stop jabbering about this and just show her to you! :D I named her Cici, since my friends name is Ciara and she supported me in saving her. (I got a 1 gallon critter cage, my friend had rocks left over from her hermit crab and let me use them.)
