Cups in Critter Carrier

So I broke down and picked up 2 new Female bettas tonight and 2 tanks I was at Pet Smart buying the mini bow 2.5 gal when 2 different females were just watching everything I do so they came home with me.

My question is thou can I float both cups in a critter carrier till I get the Mini Bows ready for them?

I don't plan on filling it high with water just high enough that I can run a heater in there to keep them warm at night I just want to make sure I wont wake up in the morning with 2 fighting women.

If its just overnight, I think that'll be fine.

Would they be fine most of tomorrow too I have 1 tank set up and running but I have to work at 7:30 (real life sucks) I could put 1 of them in the tank tomorrow and let 1 have control of the critter tank till I get home from work if needed

That will be fine, too. Don't worry, as long as they have clean water they'll be fine for another day.

I float my guys QT tanks in a larger 1.5g like a double boiler. I have in the past floated them in their take home cups but that was until I got actual containers for QT. They were fine.
