Question My Betta Won't Poo

So I bought my very first Betta Fish 6 days ago and well he hasn't pooped since then. He swims normal and acts normal. He doesn't float to the top or bottom. He eats but hasn't pooped. I've fed him a pea 2 days ago and have fast him since then. But still nothing. Does it sound like a swim bladder disorder?
I'm just concerned because I have never owned a fish!

Do you have substrate in the tank?
You might not see the poop because it breaks apart.
If he IS constipated, try making him flare for a few minutes a day... my fish sometimes poop when they flare :P

Two weeks I have mine, still no poop.I read that the feces consistency falls apart immediately so I am not that worried and he does act completely normal and happy.

Poop while flaring. What an embarrassment.

It doesn't always dissolve... sometimes you'll find clumps at the bottom of the tank and even amoung the gravel.
But... if he's not bloated and it's acting normal I wouldn't worry.
Yeah, it's pretty funny but a good way to keep your bettas "regular" LOL!

Hm,maybe if I go no gravel it will be easier for me to keep an eye on that special poo of his. My gravel is black and pink,so there's no way I can see if he went #2.

Lol at your last sentence. I wonder if it help my husband as well, haha.
