Question Expiration

Sorry for the dramatic title...
Do you think the expiration dates on the side of fish food bottles are accurate? I have two big, almost full bottles of it. The expirartion date isn't for some time, but still...

Generally, once the seal is broken on the fish food-it is good for 6mo-1yr regardless of expiration date...due to the added vitamin/minerals are not stable, and depending on the binders in the foods and what is used to keep the fats and protein stable....that can go rancid...

processed foods about 6 to a year, treated live foods maybe 3 to 6
