Anton..my new Betta

The lighting is kindda orange so the pics arent that great. I got another light but it was the wrong wattage and blew right away. I'll try to get a white light tomorrow.

What do you think?

He's gorgeous, and that is some awesome driftwood. Is it real?

Yes it is, my brother gave it to me with the aquarium. Its awesome that Anton loves to go thru the hole!! When he goes the other way all you see is his tail colors in a bunch!

Well, Anton was laying sideways on the bottom of the tank..looking pretty miserable, so I made a decision to move him into my 55 gallon with the guppies and tetras. He is soo happy now!! The Neon Tetras find him intriguing…so you find Anton sometimes with an entourage lol.

Now I had an empty 5 gallon again. I caved in when I found this beautiful female with the same coloring as Anton. I havent named her yet, and NO she isnt in the big tank with Anton. She is in the 5 gallon and she seems to be very happy there. She loves to hid and is camera shy…but I got a pic of her hiding under her floating plants.

I am so completely addicted to ALL my fish! Especially my Betta's! *smiles*

Gorgeous fish! I'm sure the female is just stressed in a new location, but her fins look clamped, so keep an eye on her :) But it seems like you make good decisions! Anton is a great name and he looks like he's having so much fun :D

I was told he is a halfmoon. I guess he's a halfmoon dragon scale betta.

This is a female too. She is all puffed up cause I was taking her picture. She is still new, (only here a day and a half) so she is still quite scared. She is so pretty, and has "Anton's" colorings. I think I will name her "Aviv".

Anton -- Greek- Worthy of praise/flower
Aviv -- Hebrew - Spring/renewal

Yes I like this.
