And I want to divide up his old tank (I was planning on it whether he was an occupant or not).
It's 10 gallons. I have the filter, heater, thermometer, gravel, everything I need for it. I have to replace the filter cartridge and baffle (I will this weekend, and then I'll cycle the tank before I put fish in).
She doesn't want me to get another Betta. She'll let me, but she doesn't want me to.
She wants me to use my old 5 gallon hex, and only get one Betta. My dad is all for me dividing up the tank. His attitude is "If I'm not responsible for cleaning it, you can have as many fish as you want."
So how do I persuade her to let me buy two Bettas? I really like them a lot. I keep up with the upkeep (It's not like it was any different than it was for just one fish, it's big enough that I only have to do a 50% once a week with the filter).
Thank youuuu :)
hi i got my betta today and i know alot about bettas wat u need to do
is to show your parents that your very responsible by doing the chores
Haha yes. What is really frustrating is when they do that in the diseases area. The fish will have died and a person will post a few days later "Oh he will get better don't worry!". Ugh, so annoying.
I get not reading the whole thing when there's like 10 pages. If there is I usually read the first post, skip a couple pages, read another few, until I reach the last page and then I read them all.
But when there's only one page I just *facepalm* It doesn't take that long to read one page. For me, anyways.
ha, ur so lucky! im trying to convince my parents to get my fish a better tank! its in a super small critter keeper right now, and they dont want me spending money on fish :(
