Well I hope so! I guess I've had them about a year and a half now. I wonder if they'll start breeding more often? I saw them doing the breeding dance last night but I've seen them do it often before. I didn't really think they'd go through with it. LOL. I have two females and two males.

They've eaten a lot more of them. From the 40 some that were on the front, only about 10 are left. I think I'm just going to let them go. If I get a couple babies, so be it.

Eggie pictures...

You can see where some eggs USED to be by the white rings. :P I don't think I'll need to feed these guys for at least 4 days. Lol!

Any babies that hatch will probably stay pretty well hidden. You may not see them until they get pretty good sized.

Well, day two and some of them are turning a beige color, which means they're fertile, as I understand. At this point I think I have about 20 - 30 eggs. I'm still avoiding having to destroy them. Lol. I'm thinking I'll let nature take it's course. They'll probably end up being an Endler snack but maybe a few will live.

lol! Don't stress out about it too much. I doubt that you'll end up with that many adults. Most will become tasty snacks for the rest of your fish.

That would just be wrong. Those bad, bad, bad corys!
This is what you get when corys don't act responsibly about sex.
LOL

Just kidding.

I know, I sound like a nervous Mom, don't I? Lol!

@BlueHaven LOL! I should sit down with them and have a talk.

In the future I'll avoid large water changes this time of year. From what I've read, I did exactly what you're supposed to do to get them to spawn. LOL. I have no one to blame but me.

Aww.. baby cories <3 If I had my 20 gallon set up I'd buy some babies from you once they're big enough. Hey.. I've got a year right? ;)

Absolutely Jackie! :D

According to the people over at planet catfish, they're corydoras venezuelanus rather then corydoras aeneus (bronze corys). But honestly I've tirelessly looked through pics of both and I can't tell. They're too similar.

Here's a pic of them when I first got them
