Bent fish!

I woke up this morning and checked on my betta and 3 cories. I only saw two of the cories, and thought the other was hiding. Found him a little bit later wedged in a big fake plastic plant I have, near the "roots". I thought he was dead, but when I spread apart the stems of the plant he wiggled and fell out onto the gravel, but he's still bent at like 90 degrees by like his "hips". I don't know what to do, I'm afraid to try to make him move. Has anyone had this happen before? I'm thinking I should take the plant out, but I feel like there is always something stupid they could do to any tank ornament.

Bettas a curious little fish and sometimes "dig" themselves into gaps.
I would take him out and place him in a container with 2" of water so he has easy access to the surface while he recuperates. Add some aquarium salt to the water and change his water everyday.
Hope he gets better soon.

I think Noiria was talking about the cory.

Yes, it was one of the cories. Luckily, he's been moving around. Haven't really seen it, but every so often he's somewhere else in the tank chilling on the bottom. He's straightened out a little too, so it's more like an "s" bend. I did a huge water change, and now I'm gonna just keep an eye on him.

He may just be in shock. Give him some time to recover.
