OMG I was Such a noob! (PICZ)

Ohhhh myyyy goodness! I was looking through some old pictures and to my horror i found a picture of the two betta's my husband and I had when we first moved in together.. If i knew what i know now i certainly would not of had them in this... It made me a little mad at myself but I was VERY misinformed at the LFS! They're lives didnt last long because our kitty Luna ate them.....

Been there, I had my first in a half gallon. I quickly learned that was a "no-no" and he was then promptly moved to a 5 gallon.

I had several Bettas during high school, all kept in tiny decorative rose bowls, no bigger than the cups they come in. They all died pretty quickly.

cats are very sensitive to changers with their owners mostly when it comes to pregnancy/a new baby around... the peeing would have maybe stopped eventually but you never know, sounds like a super sensitive cat, one of my cats that lives with my mom (i moved out 2 months ish ago) always pees in the house, it's super annoying, in boxes and on plastic and on leather... and boots.
she's slowly getting better with it now that she has plastic in her litterbox (haha) but it s taking a really long time to re-train her to use it since she's been doing it for at least a year..

The only reason we had to give her away is because cat pee is VERY harmful to pregnant women and I didnt want to risque it. I still visit her from time to time even now :)

OMG really bad cat!

But ya we all make mistake's at first, I had Jasper..fish in my avatar, in a 1/2 gallon where he almost froze to death before he got moved to a nice warm 2.5g.'s.

We were all misinformed at one time :D Now i know and now my betta's are happy and mostly healthy (chewie is a little sick)
