That's a Polyvore picture.

In case some of you aren't familiar with Polyvore it's a site that mainly involves clothing and such to allow you to put outfits together without having the actual clothes- collages, basically.

Meaning that that image is not real and should not be a cause for concern- someone probably thought it looked cool.

Granted, they shouldn't be kept in bottles, or anything small, but just to inform everyone, they shouldn't worry about that picture, it isn't real.

14 days without food is correct, but its unhuman to leave any animal without food that long, even a few days is horrid

Eh.. mine have gone 14 days without food and all were fine. They would have been much worse off going through the stress of the 4 hour drive to and from home for the holidays.

However, the rest of that information was laughable. There is no such thing as "Japanese fighting fish"... in fact I'm pretty sure that there are no betta species from Japan.
