Which salt was used?
How much salt was dosed?
Tank size?
Any other fish?
Temp?
Any heater or filter?
Foods and frequency of feeding?

What's the water change routine?

I don't see any fraying of the fins in that pic.

How much salt was added in tank? It's supposed to help keep bacteria at bay and for temporary use only (NOT permanent use). I'm not seeing any fraying on the fins in the pic. Did the fins look frayed, split or blown off?

I don't see black edging to the fins so I don't think he has fin rot. If you want to help him grow his fins back feed him a high protein diet, keep his water really clean and you can add Stress Coat.

You shouldn't add salt to his water long term, doing so will make them resistant to it's effects. Only use it when he is sick.
Good luck :)
