I never really thought about it, but my hobby is pretty awesome. (Other than betta keeping.) I recreate ancient weapon systems. I've built trebuchets and other siege weapons, forge my own knives, create arrowheads, harpoons, lances, spears, darts, etc.

But when I woke up this morning and realized what my current project could do, I shocked myself.

I can take a 2x4, a small length of leather cord, and a 4 foot long stone-tipped dart and kill a 1500 lbs moose from 100 feet away. Any one believe me?

I don't know why you'd wanna kill some poor moose but as a Mythbusters watcher, I'm intrigued despite myself. :)

I'm building an atlatl, mankind's first weapons system. In essence, it's a dart thrower, capable of launching a dart almost 120 yards at over 100 mph. At 20 yards, it had enough force to put a dart all the way through a moose.

thats really cool, but one time in band camp i like walked up to this Bug with like this rolled up people mag and i like said to the Bug " Hey Bug! " thats what i called him. and he wouldnt answer me so i said "Hey Bugg" and raise the rolled up mag and said"Hey you stupid Buggg!" and he flew away and i went to the swimming pool to cool off. but the same Bug found me in the water and pooped on me, so i like said"Hey Bugggg!! and threw a rock i found at him, but it turned out that it was girl bug. so i killed the wrong bug and not the onw who pooped on me and felt bad about it for a really long time. so do you believe me?

I love ancient things and older weopons, they are much more interesting than guns.

I recently have been collecting items to make a spear....
I'm definitely planning to make my own bow and arrows, but I haven't gotten the chance to go out exploring the woods yet.
And I ended up getting things for my bettas instead of getting a knife for carving.....haha
