Seachem Prime

Most of the people on here use Seachem Prime as their water conditioner, so I went and bought it. Apparently, it treats 50 gallons of water for every 5 mL used. Problem is, I only have a 2.5 gallon tank. That means for every full water change I have to use .25 mL. Can I use it? It seems like such a small amount.

Yep. You're spot on with that measurement.

Wow...so apparently it can last for a little less than 10 years...when should I trash it. Will it expire or get old?

No expiration date. Expiration is indefinite. Keep it closed after use.

If you need a dropper to measure out the drops, you can probably buy an eye dropper or something along those lines at a convinence store.

From what I've seen and heard, it does not have an experation date. On another forum, a question similar to this came up a bit ago. The person had just found a half used bottle of prime from like 1994 ish... So he emailed the company, and they said it'd be fine to use.
