Hi Guys. Last week I got my 1st Beta and named him, Dudley.
When I sent up my 5 gallon tank with a very good filter and got the water crystal clear & healthy, what a difference in the color in him. He is so active and seems to be always watching me. Follows my finger and then
swims off with all his glory. My question..., is a small cory cat ok
to put into tank to keep the bottom clean..? I think in a month
or so, I am going to get a 10 or even 15 gallon tank so I can give
him a companion or two. Any suggestions...? Are 2 fancy tail guppies ok
with a larger tank or because of the tail of the guppy, will my Beta
attack & kill them..? Thanks

usually noone has problems with either corys or guppies, all depends on ur bettas attitude :)

You can't really put any other fish in a 5 gallon with a betta, I'd just wait until you get the larger tank. I think in general cories need to be kept in groups too. I don't know about guppies though.

Lol my fish tanks have betta bettas and bettass oh and two snails in one tank

Thank you. Like I said, I am new to caring for a beta. Is it alright if I sometimes e-mail you and ask a few questions..? I have read much about caring for a Beta this week but I know I will need someone with exp. to help
me keep Dudley healthy.
