Question Feeding

I'm a little worried about my new betta, Dante's diet. I haven't actually seen him eat since I have gotten him, but he does not look depressed or sick. The store employee had told me they had been feeding him freeze dried bloodworms when I bought him. Could this have something to do with it and will he eventually eat the pellets bought for him?

My guy despises pellets, which I find unusual. Instead, I feed him flakes. Hopefully my new female likes pellets, I have an entire bottle of them. That might be why.

Also, when did you get Dante? Octavius refused to eat for a few days, probably due to all the stress of a new home. He now can't get enough of his food!

I got him Sunday. I just find his behavior odd because I owned a betta, named Shrek, before and he ate his food like crazy! I guess each betta to his own...but I'd hate to have to go out and get brand new food. He doesn't seem sick or anything, so I'll wait just wait a day or two and see if he acctually starts eating.

Sometimes it takes time before a betta will eat while adjusting to his new home.
