Male or Female?

I was at Petco yesterday when I thought I was picking up a pair of gorgeous white marble veiltale females. Well, turns out that I'm not to sure about one of them. One is for sure a veiltale, and she's a sweetheart at that. This other one, she could be a delta tale maybe, or I thought maybe even a plakat, but if she's a plakat I'm not sure if she's a boy or a girl. I can't really see an egg spot, but that may not being saying much anyway. Here are a few pictures, I would appreciate the help!

Sorry they are huge and blurry, cell phone pictures.

From what I can tell, it looks
to me like a male.

See how far back the dorsal fin is, and how plump the belly is, I'd say this is a girl! She's so cute, reminds me of my new girl Luna. It's hard to tell what tail type, but I think it's also a VT. :)

Thank you! Tonight I will try introducing her to the sorority! I wish I would have left her last night with the others, but I was just too nervous.

The dorsal is what tipped me off too :) Just the way she is shapped as well.

If the fish flares face to face it is usually female. If the fish flares with a side body posture, it is probably a male.

ooh, I never knew that one, thank you! In the tub I was holding her in, she made an awfully nice looking bubble nest for a girl... hmmm...

Huh, that's odd! I hope I'm not mistaken, but... I don't know, her dorsal is very small and far back on her body, and her body shape is plumper than most males... ;)

I have her in the sorority now. She starts a flare face to face but then starts doing the side-wiggle-dance. She's still a girl right? :p
