I think Fruitroot is a scaredy fish

today I wanted to see if I could get fruitroot to flare to take a picture of it...but he did something weird...instead of flareing at a mirror he turned around and ran behind his plant trying to hide. XD he was scared of his own relfection which I find funny. XD

Has anyone every seen that happen? where their betta's actually run away from their own reflection? XD

Haha, I haven't seen mine do that, they are always interested their reflection.

hahahahaa, i did that today with Sumo and he did the same thing!!
I had NEVER seen him flare so today when I got my new betta I bought one of those floating mirrors to try with him for a minute, when he finally took a good look in it he started to stick his tail up and then just changed his mind and ran off... lol

Sir Lefty Buttons does that. He doesn't flare.

Lol! That's too cute, poor little guy. My Noonie flares but he flares while he's slowly backing away... haha, it's never a very confident flare, actually he looks more like a deer caught in the headlights.
