bubble nests?

Ehh i dont know if im in the right section or not but here it goes

I just recently purchased my male betta, will he probably make a bubble nest, maybe when?

There is no real time table. It all comes down to the conditions he's living in and the personality of your betta. My boy Boba has never built one before (but the filter current near the top destroys any bubbles, anyway.) Quinn builds huge masterpieces that take up half of his 10 gallon tank, then destroys them to start over.

Bubblenest building is completely relative to your tank and your betta

Sometimes within the first few days, sometimes they rarely do it. It all depends on their conditions (when they are really happy, they tend do to it, but that's not always the case), and if they are just in the mood to start building a nest. It's definitely a nice surprise to see in the tank one day!

My doubletail has never made a nest and I've had him for 3 months now.

Ulmo just blows bubbles, never to a nest. Random bubbles around his tank.

The two unnamed boys haven't build bubble nests, either. I think the veil hasn't simply because he's very young.

Sigmund built one after he was here for a week. He now builds one daily. Or adds to it.

Mizu built one after being here for three weeks. His are less frequent, but stick longer.

Hehehe, I just got my new betta last night and i woke up this morning to 4 bubble nests in his tank! =D

Jade won't do bubbles for anyone. Not a nest anyway. |D;
Like AngelicScars' betta, Jade just has random bubbles everywhere. I know he's happy. He spazzes anytime he sees me (and gets food lol), his tank is at 82, he's in a 5 gallon (half the size of the one he was in before...it's a breeder tank... waiting for that nest xP)
He might've tried to build one before, but it was either that or the filter was making the bubbles. |D I really don't know.

I've had my betta for a month now and he's built his first bubble nest today :D But some bettas will build nests some will hardly ever. But it all happens in good time.
