Try getting daphnia if you can...they love it and itll make em crap their brains out XD

And urgh! DONT DO THE PEA THING.

Idk if it works with females, but sometimes when a male sees his reflection and goes nuts, he poops. Try it with your female, maybe she'll poop for ya.
Yeah, make sure you get the frozen, not freeze dried. Freeze dried could make her tummy even worse.
Since she hasn't eaten for so long, definitely don't do the pea thing.
And agree, I've seen my bettas poop so many times when they see their reflection, it's hilarious! XD

Lily has eaten pellets for the first time!! I'm so happy! I soaked two pellets in the garlic juice and had to cut each pellet into quarters and time it so it floated down so it would catch her eye, bit of a chore but soooooooo worth it! I'm so happy! yay!!

Now hopefully it wasn't just a one off! Do you think I have to always soak the pellets in garlic juice?

Now that Ms. Lily has recognized the pellets as food, try her tomorrow with non-soaked pellets & see how she responds.

Good luck! :)

Do you think she's not eating the pellets because they're too big - or she doesn't like the taste?

I don't know, it could be that she doesn't like the brand, the pellets they fed her at the pet store are much bigger (Wardley), so i'm not sure...i received some suggestions to buy her aqueon pellets and frozen bloodworms, i am yet to buy those, but will do on Sunday. She's curious about the freeze dried bloodworms and circles around them and stares but didn't take a bite.. :S, and flakes aren't her thing...
