Question best heaters?

i know there may already be a thread about this, but i am new to the site and haven't quite figured out the navigation fully. i was just wondering what heaters you would recommend for a 10 gallon tank?

I think most people will recommend an adjustable, I prefer Marineland.

For a 10 gal. the best is a 50 watt, adjustable, submersible heater, IMO.

Or - were asking for brand names?

I was kind of hoping for specific heaters, but that information helps also. I have been looking at heaters and have read that some explode or overheat, ect., ect. So i was just trying to figure out which specific heater people would personally recommend :)

IMO the best heater for the price is the Hydor theo. Mine works amazingly, is compact and easy to hide, and is pretty cheap online.

Marineland Stealths work good as well but I have a problem with mine not heating to the temperature they say they will... I have to set them like 4 degrees higher to get the temperature I want.

Yeah, I have a Marineland as well that I have to play with the adjustment to get it to where it needs to be. It really depends on how much water you are trying to heat.
