What to do?

I've had Clara for around 3 months now . . . And honestly every time I walk in my room she has stress stripes and she cowers in the corner of her tank. She eats fine . . . but only when I leave the room. I even tried moving her out of my room and into our small bedroom upstairs that no one ever goes in and she still has stress stripes. I thought that maybe it was from too frequent of water changes so I only change her water once a week. >.< Could this affect her health? I have actually considered re-homing her but I figured she would just do the same exact thing to them... Any advice?

Her tank is about 4.5 gallons. I have 3 silk plants, betta log,And one teracotta plant pot. I think she does have enough Plants/hiding spots. One thing I have seen her do alot is chase her reflection? Could that be making her stressed?
