I feel soo bad :(

I came home for a few days to visit my parents, and instead of transporting 3 tanks, i have 2 one gallon kritter keepers and a 3 gallon kritter keeper. Well I brought their heaters and everything, and set them up. I lowered the settings on the two heaters going into the 1 gallon so i didn't have crisp fishies. My parents house is pretty cold so i figured i could still use the heater specified for 5.5 gallons or less. I went for some reason to check my fishies, two were hovering around 70, not completely horrible. But one heater apparently didn't plug in right and poor Cornelius(Edit: Arthur) was around 55 degrees. He has lost all his color, he is like a muddy brown, normally a blue pink and purple. I am trying to bring the temp back up but I feel bad for him being a betta popsicle. :( Hopefully he survives this ordeal

Don't feel too bad, accidents happen.
I hope Cornelius is feeling better, now that he is getting warmer.
Bettas are strong fish, so there is a good chance that he will recover fine.

He is up to a balmy 68. His pinks are starting to come back. I was watching him, and he yawned.. so cute hahah

He has entered "the green zone" aka the 70s xD His color in his tail is starting to come back, Waiting on his body to return from muddy brown

Glad he's feeling better! :) :) Don't feel too bad, I know I've forgotten about the heater a time or two! :)

Do you happen to know how many watts your heaters are? I was curious if I could stick mine in a critter keeper over spring break, but I'm guessing it's too strong.... I just hate packing the tank home for long breaks!
