I Think Caligula Might Need a New Home...

Ugh...this has been quite a rough start to this year. Lots of things, too many to explain, have forced me to accept the fact that I might have a little too many Bettas. I already am giving my sister her Betta, Monster, next week. So I need to shed one more Betta. After a lot of thought, I have chosen Caligula, my BFHM I got from Petco a few months ago.
I have never shipped before and am not really comfortable shipping him. Plus, I do not really have the money to do so right now. I was wondering if any of you lived near me in Spokane, WA? If you picked him up then he comes with a 5 gallon tank with all slik plants and a fake stump cave. The filter is baffled and all he would need is maybe a heater.
Melvin is in the tank right now. But I would just have them switch places if I do end up finding Caligula a home.
I picked here because I trust all of you know your Betta care stuff. I do not want to use Craigslist or something where someone might get him and throw 6 platies in there with him or never clean his tank or somethng like that.
Here is Caligula (though he got caught in the filter intake a few days ago and his caudal fin is a little ripped):

(BTW, he does not like tank mates)
And here is the tank he would be in (as I said, Melvin is in there right now. But I am not getting rid of Melvin):

Just thought I would see if I get any bites. Thank you for looking. :)

Well I do not have money right now to ship. Plus, I think it might be too expensive to ship the tank.

FYI, you wouldnt have to ship the tank, just the betta, and people would pay you the shipping cost :)

Gorgeous boy! Good luck finding someone. I would suggest craigslist, but that's not necessarily a good way to find a proper home...

Maybe a LFS could help you pack him up properly for shipping? You would be shipping to someone who already has a tank...He's gorgeous, BTW...

Well, right now there is a guy interested in him who wants to put him in a 210 gallon tank. He is still thinking it over.

If that goes through, he would be really happy! But I thought you said that he doesn't like tank-mates? I wouldn't thinkt that he is going to put 1 betta in 210 gallons!

Maybe she meant to type 10 or 20, not 210. I agree though, it would be odd if he just had a single betta in a 210 gallon.
