One bigger fin?

My betta has a longer ventral fin than the other. Is that weird? She doesn't have fin rot or anything and it has been the same way since I brought her home in December. Her eating habits and behavior hasn't changed at all. Should I just leave her be?

It'll just be a genetic defect, some bettas don't even have those fins.

My male has one full size one and one half one - when I got him he had 2, now looking back at photos of him with 2 just seem so wrong.

Cup ripped one of his beautiful, long, flowy ventrils in half. ;A; now, he has one super long, beautiful ventril fin, and one half-length dinky looking one. .___o alot of bettas just have one ventril longer than the other. it's pretty normal.

If it was caused by fin damage, it is possible that they could even out. It could just be that fish with the lucky fin like Nemo. lol
