Sibling betta play fight

Here's some of my young bettas, the bigger not as colorful one is female and the spade tail is male. This is a play fight and neither fish was in danger...young bettas fight all the time and it's the breeders job to know when it's no longer playing.

Lol, my girls play like that all the time. It's really quite cute. Of course I watch them intently for -any- sign of real growliness, but they're oddly pretty mellow.
