Im guessing this means my betta is happy?

My girlfriend went to feed King a minute ago and he jumped at her fingers at least 5 times!! It was the coolest thing Ive ever seen him do!

Does this indicate my betta is in good health? Oh, and can they hurt themselves by doing this?

Yes, jumping is a sign of good health
Yes, jumping can be hazardous as the betta can jump from the tank and dry up, eventualy after about an hour or so.

Just make sure you remember to close the lid after feeding time..lol.

I haven't seen my boys jump except at my fingers, but I wouldn't take any chances.

Sometimes when I go to feed my betta, I'll place the food into the water, and he'll swim up and nibble at my finger, its the funniest little thing
