Interaction with Your Bettas?

I always put my face up close to the glass and watch them try to swim through the glass at me xD Although it makes it very inconvient when I'm trying to look at their fins. I used to have a fish that would try to bite my finger :P So, I'm curious: how do you guys "talk" to your bettas?

with Caroline, she gets the most attention, because she's at my computer desk. i do things like push my finger against the tank wall, tap on one side, then move my hand so she looks around for it. lately, i've been practising making paper cranes, and she gets so excited when i st the newest one by her tank, so i have about three around her tank now. xD everyone else, gets attention too, just not as much as her.

Paper cranes are my favorite origami :D I know what you mean about desk bettas getting the most attention - I have all three of my guys on a shelf right above me.

i'm doing them, to send to Japan. :3 this artist on Deviantart thought up the idea, of sending a thousand or more paper cranes to Japan, to give them hope. :3

i try to give them all attention every day. :d

That is so awesome! I remember we did something like that in school a few years back - not for the same reason, of course, but it was still cool :3 and it is still trouble for me to give them equal attention, mostly because Midnight has an easier time hiding and I'm paranoid about them jumping :P

I now want to make origami butterflies and cranes and cover the paper in saran wrap and float them in their tanks, lol. Thanks! Betta toys are totally becoming my new obsession

I remember I made a huge one out of wrapping paper once... not a betta toy, just something cool. I'll have to try making some betta toys sometime. With a fish I had a few years ago, I'd dangle a glass fish in the water and he'd flare at it xD
