Snails for Food

So I want to breed Ramshorn Snails for food for my fish. What is the simplest set up I could use? Do I need a filter and heater? LOL noob-ish questions :)

I actually have no idea but wanted to bump this for you.

My best guess would be heater, yes...filter, unimportant. Actually..if you had a tank big enough to float a breeding net in you could let them breed in there. No extra heater or filter necessary, less worry about uneaten food etcetc. Easy to spot and care for the babies..

Just a thought :)
