Pea Puffer eating on first day! (video)

Okay so I ended up getting the Dwarf Puffer yesterday. It was the tiniest one in the store, he is just barely a centimeter long. I say he but I am not sure of the sex yet, she could be a female or just hasn't developed the male markings yet.

Anyways I fed it for the first time today. He got two big microworms and small one at the end. I took a video of him eating his second worm.

Here it is. He is such a cutie, but I am not sure what to name him since his sex is a mystery :/

My little guy had his wrinkle markings around his eyes when I got him and he was about that size, so it's prolly a little girlie. What a cutie! They're so cute when they're that tiny! I was giggling at her trying to get the worm in the reflection. Mine does the same thing. Lol!

She is so adorable, I am already obsessed with her. She is so tiny I have to look really hard, but she usually comes to the front if she sees me.

She was like half the size of the other peas (lol), so do you think she is old enough to be sure she is a girl?

Huey had his stripes when I got him and he was TEENY. Less then half an inch for sure. I was afraid he'd get sucked into the filter (mesh bag over it). But, it's possible yours could be a boy and just hasn't developed stripes yet. I guess each could be different. I'd go with a neutral name for now. Lol.

They are so cute. Mine comes up to the front too when I come in the kitchen. He sees EVERYTHING. It's amazing. He even knows his frozen bloodworms box. I wuv him. I wish you much, much joy with yours and if she/he isn't camera shy, take lots of pics and post em! Huey is scared to death of the camera. :)

Okay I will stick with neutral names. So far he/she is just wary of the camera, and eyes it suspiciously.

Thanks so much! I am so excited about caring for my new little pea!

Maybe you should let the camera sit next to the tank for awhile. I'm sure he'd he/she would get used to it. :)

So cute!
