Just got a 20 gallon tank!

I was doing some chores outside when my neighbor came to me and asked if I wanted to have a 20 gallon tank. She had it in her garage and didnt really need it. Its just the bare tank (no filter, hoods, etc - I think it was used for a reptile). I cannot believe my luck! My 10 gallon is in for an upgrade! The silicone seems to be wearing off in some parts so I will buy some and cover it up. If the tank works out (no leaks, etc) then I will be upgrading during spring break which is a week away. With a 20 gallon I dont trust my dresser to suport it so I will be buying a stand. Or I will look into doing my own - I have been looking up DIY projects and I think I can easily make one out of cinder blocks and plywood for cheap - These are supposed to be super stable too. Anyways, I hope the tank is in usable condition so wish me luck!

Turns out the tank is a 30 gallon tall I have it mostly set up by now. It will be a riparium. For those who dont know, this is what a riparium looks like. Only mine wont look so nice :P

The tank will be filled about halfway so I will have 15-16 gallons of water. Will post it when completed in the betta homes section.

Wow! What a cool neighbore!

That looks so cool. So it'll be kind of like simulating the wild for your betta's?
