New Girl! [PICTURE HEAVY]

Good Evening everybody!

I initially was only getting materials to set up the 2.5Gal, but this little girl was too cute to pass up. When I was holding her cup she kissed my thumb! <3

Here are some various pictures of her! I named her MeiLin, or just Lin :)


This was her when I took her home and put her in a 0.5 Gal quarantine, she had already perked up from her cup :)

Does anybody know what kind she is? Also I notice that the top part of her tail is missing, there's no black or white marks so I'll keep an eye if it develops finrot

Thanks!~ There were a lot of pretty MALE CTs at my LPS today, but I promised that I would get a girl XD...There were also many pretty girls, but she was the most active and already mastered the "Please take me home ;_;" look.

Oh if anybody reads this, I was wondering, are those black marks her stress lines? If so, they'll go away after a few days right?

She's very cute :) I haven't gotten a female yet, but I've seen so many great pictures that I think I just might.

Her little tank is just great :) I LOVE that she has that room all to herself.

She looks great!
She's too pale to see stress marks, the black marks are part of her coloring... I have a pale female like that.
She looks like a VT and she doesn't seem to have fin rot but you could always add a bti of salt to the water to prevent rot and encourage growth.

I have a pale white marble VT girl too! Your new girl is adorable, her fin will heal in no time! So cute, gotta love the girl bettas. :)
