Petcos Bettas

I was curious where Petco gets their bettas from so after a little research I tracked down who supplies most of if not all of their bettas and probably several other petstores.

those are some pretty boys and girls. some of the wild-types were so cute!

i don't think my local pet store gets theirs from them. i think the fish guy said something about a breeder "out west", because they were cheaper. whoever they get their bettas from, is an amazing breeder. o3o

I think their halfmoons are breeder's culls from Thailand.

the White Pearl Fighter SHW they have a photo of, looks like it either has a gimpy ventril, or is hiding half of it. >3>

Oh my! I looked at the petstore locator and I put in the zipcode where I got Tinsel and the store came up! Tinsel is a Segrest Farm fishy :)

hehe. i was right. Pet Lover's doesn't get their fish from them. but, the PetCo i fell in love with does. <3

Same here! :) Octo, at least. Hestia, I'm not sure yet.
