Evaporation issues

I've been having evaporation issues ever since I got my tank, since there is big open spots on the top of it like this:

Can anyone recommend me something to keep so much evaporation from happening?

I would use plastic food wrap. Or another option would be to use aquarium sponges.

Yeah, you could cover the holes with saran wrap (with holes poked into it so air can still get in). But sometimes it happens anyway. My tank has a full hood and it would evaporate often ;)
