So yesterday while driving around with my friend I found myself at Petco, again. Of course I looked at the bettas and they must have been a new shipment because their water was relatively clean. Anyways, they had a few with striking colors but....not so pretty faces. Then I saw this beautiful translucent white double tail with streaks of light pink. I had to. Not to mention, doubles were only $6.99. And now I have no money in my wallet :(

But I have a beautiful new betta named Casper :)

Wow he's absolutely beautiful, really. I'm quite surprised, I wasn't expecting him to be so pretty! I love his eyes, I'm always a fan of light eyes on bettas. Grats on your new guy! Wish I could see him in person.

You can't really see the pink in the photos :/ In person he's just so pretty, even the way he swims is peaceful. But I was really surprised that double tails were only $6.99, cheaper then Deltas.
