Question "Skin tag" on fish? Weird fin clumpy lump.

So my veiltail Poseidon had these two when I bought him from a petsmart, it may just be damage to his fins from when they were curled or possibly ammonia burn? It reminds me of skin tags that people have on their skin, which totally freak me out btw. His fins are growing, and rapidly, but I wanted to know if anyone had seen anything like this or could give me some insight.

He's in a (new and bigger!) 2.5 gallon unfiltered, heated tank and lives alone with his pagoda and some plants. He's also pretty cute. Here are some pictures. One is on one of his pelvic/ventral fin and the other is on his anal fin. He's happy, healthy, active, and showing no signs of lethargy or distress, he seems like he's doing better every day since I got him home. I'm mostly just curious as to what this is and if anyone's seen it before. It's so cool to see his fins growing with the webbed ends
