My pretty boys!!

These are my two original bettas plus my two new babys that I got recently, the red/purple/white betta was dying when I got him and he was almost white, and now he is getting the most beautiful colors on him.

First picture is of all 4, Simba, Marvella, Precioso, and Burbuja
Second is of burbuja and the other of Marvella!

Thanks for those who helped them get better!!!

I love your fish!

But I don't think that plastic is okay to be used underwater. That is corrugated plastic correct? I am not sure if that is safe to use. And I hate to rag even more but they would be so much happier with some plants and decorations. Bettas don't really like open spaces when they have no place to hide or even rest. I would also raise the water level so they have more room. Sorry! I just had to say something.

I agree with turtle10, your bettas would be thrilled to have some hiding places :D A super cheap hiding place would be a coffee mug, as long as it's thoroughly cleaned and soap-free :D

I agree, some plants and hiding places are needed. Just one cave and one tall plant each would be enough. =) Very pretty boys.

Wikipedia says it's safe...doesn't breakdown and has no adverse effects. I've also seen people discussing it on different forums...most recently regarding DIY backgrounds, aquarium tops and small critter cages.

Seems like a rather cost effective choice..assuming you could work out a filtration system as I can't imagine it allows for any water exchange through compartments.

In any case..cute boys!!
Are you filtering that tank somehow? I'd be curious to hear how you're doing it..I don't think I see one in the pics.

If it is safe than that is great. I have used some before for a project and it is so light and easy.

There will just be no water circulation because they are solid.

Thanks for the comments, i know the main concern was corrugated plastic, but its safe, i also have made 1/4 rows of holes in it to let the water circulate, when i took the picture it was as a couple of days after setting it up, I have decorations for my two other boys that will be put in as soon as they are nice and clean, about plants, I am looking into what plants would be good and not take up too much space so that they can swim around feely as well. I also just purchased a filter for them so they can be very nice and happy.

Thanks for the tips and yes they are very very lovely :) :) :)

thank you :)
