Should I be concerned?

I bought this fish last month and I thought she was cute because of the little spot on her back. After reading more on possible diseases I figured I should make sure its nothing major. The spot has maybe grown, but so has the fishy.

Housing

What temperature is your tank? Room temp, my room is warmer than usual

Is your tank heated? no (looking into it)
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? 2 other females

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? betta bits and bloodworms
How often do you feed your betta fish? little bit twice a day

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? every other day
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 50%ish
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? water conditioner

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? no
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? no
When did you start noticing the symptoms? purchased with spot
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? nope
Does your fish have any history of being ill? don't think so...
How old is your fish (approximately)? i've had her for a month and unknown beyond that, she came from a pet store.

Looks like there's a chunk missing out of her! Looks like a bite to me. Buy some Bettafix but use it only one week at a time, if overused, it can cause some bad issues. Or try some AQ salt and treat for one week. Same with the use of the Bettafix, do not overuse. If an infection forms, keep the tank temp a tad lower than usual because bacteria thrives in warm temps. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice! I'll give it a try. Can she stayin with the other fish during treatment (when no infection)? I don't want to disrupt the "understanding" the ladies have reached.

It looks like an old injury.. I wouldn't worry too much about it. A round of aquarium salt (10 days 1sp per gallon, daily water changes) might not be a bad idea just as a precaution.

On a different note.. you have 3 female bettas in a 3 gallon tank? That's really not an adequate set up as the females will eventually begin fighting. Sororities must be of at least 4 females in at least 10 gallons of water.

Which I completely understand. I'm home most of the time and constantly watching (not helping my studies). This tank is temporary (I hope) until I get another place and can set up a larger tank. I also have other bowls handy if things get rough. I was very aware from the start I was taking a risk.

The 3 gallons is also over stocked. I would personally separate them for now.
