Pectoral fin tore in half.. :(

So I did a water change on my girls tank today and before I did it both pectoral fins were fine but afterwords one of them was ripped in half.. There is nothing in her tank that could have hurt her so I guess I must have did something to hurt her when I was doing a water change.. I feel so bad! She looks like Nemo now.. She is swimming okay and her color is fine and everything, it doesn't look like she is struggling. I just was wondering if there is anything I should do.. Will it heal? I can't get a picture because her fins are see-through.

Keep the water pristine to prevent bacterial infection, and it should heal up just fine.

In addition to keeping the water clean, it might be a good idea to add some aquarium salt too.

Use one tsp per gallon, but don't use it longer than ten days; too much salt can weaken a fish's immunity. It also can't hurt to lower the water level just in case she does start to have problems swimming and surfacing.
