Welp....

Sadly, Gen died this afternoon.. I showed him to my dad and he said he was fine until I turned the tank and Gen didn't react. He's taking me friday to return him and get a replacement. I'm planning on return the tank he was in too. All the other tanks are glass, but his was plastic. Maybe thats what the problem was, I honestly don't know.

I'm gonna get the pasty white dal I saw yesterday as a replacement, along with get a female betta for my 10g.

So... Gen was $5.99 minus $3.99 for my new dal, and then minus $2.99 for the girl means I'll pay $0.99, and get $8.99 back for the tank..I'm gonna buy a 1g made of glass for him.. Maybe even a 2.5..

I wish I could be excited for going back to get my dal, but for the reason.. I'm not..

Things like that happen sometimes... I'm glad you'll be able to return him.

Maybe the new boy will help you feel better. :)

I hope so.. The dal I'm getting is very beautfiul.. Maybe I'll even get 2 girls for my 10g. All depends on the health and quality.

For the girl(s) I'm getting, should I put her in right away, or wait? Just wanna know..

If you already have your other girls in the ten gallon tank you should definitly wait.
Quarantine the girls in separate bowls, in case they may have something/getting the start of something contagious. By waiting you reduce the risk of spreading disease between your other girls. I am not sure how long quarentine should be, but I am guessing around one week to two weeks. Better see what others say for the length XD

Sorry about you losing Gen last night. ):
I hope the new fish cheer you up a bit!

I read about Finny - I'm sorry about that.. But I think it was the gravel from walmart that killed him.. Or maybe he was sick.. I'm not entirely sure..

If its 2 weeks, then I don't know.. I think I'm going to get 1 more girl for right now, and watch her for 3-4 days then place her into the 10g along with my other 3 girls..
