I'm really excited to be sharing these photos with you all today. I've waited a long time, but I wanted to wait until I had some good before and after pics. ^^ On February 28th, I over heard a coworker discussing a betta fish her daughter had. When I showed interest, she asked if I knew anyone who would take him in. So, having kept betta fish since 2002, I volunteered my home. This little fish came to me in a 1/2 gallon tank and was in relatively good health. He was spunky, colorful and had quite the appetite. However, he had terrible fin rot... So promptly I began treating him (aquarium salt, new tank, heater and good ol' clean water). His fins are looking fuller and longer every day. He still has a lot of growing to do, but in the 3 weeks I've had him, I think he's come a long way.
It's been really exciting to see how he's developing and now I'm beginning to see, he's a halfmoon butterfly! :D
So... without further ado, meet Salsa. :)
And, since Noonie was never properly introduced, here's a couple pictures of him, he arrived in December of 2009. He's very active and dark, so capturing him on film is rather difficult. ^^;
Can you spot him? XD
And one more of Salsa, his colors look so pretty in this picture.
Thanks for looking ^^
