Bawww! Yay, congrats to you!

Taking pictures on the macro ("flower") setting helps lots. But, as Im sure you know, theyre wiggly and never stay still. You'll get a good pic, no worry...

one out of like a hundred XD <3

Keep the lights in or around the tank on, too, and dont use flash...It works best with macro IME :3

And you can always bribe him with a nom.... ;)

Thanks! Thats a good idea... got another fish tank next to his so the 2 lights on should work well. He's looking kinda hungry but i've heard that feeding them while they're still getting used to their new surroundings is not so great... how true is that?

As true as the fish feels! If he's hungry, offer him one pellet (the type you will ALWAYS be feeding him, no treats) for now, see if he eats. If he does, yay! If not, remove it.

I believe fish that have been shipped/imported shouldnt be fed because theyre so stressed it can cause bloat.

But hey, try it :) Try giving him (normally) 3-4 a day, spaced out, not all at once.

He's swimming around looking for something and pecking at anything that looks half edible... He seems quite relaxed so will give it a try... see what happens. Thanks Pew!
