Betta is addicted to cory food

My betta Cleo..He is looking huge! everytime I feed my corys the sinking shrimp pellets...He watches them and waits until it looks like they're eating and then he dives down to the bottom and eats the pellets! How Can I keep him away from the sinking shrimp pellets? I tried to hide the pellets under my java moss so only the corys would find it...however.. he still managed to wiggle his way down between the java moss and the sand.

Take the whole pellet or whatever size piece you normally feed and crunch/break them up into multiple tiny pieces and drop them down into different areas of the tank (front corners, rear corners etc.)
