How old can you safely ship Betta?

On aquabid I notice most are about 3-4 months old, however I'm curious how young they can be safely shipped. What is your insight on this?

I'd say 1 month would be the youngest you want to go. The younger the fish is the more likely the shock and stress of shipping could kill it.

Chappy was shipped to me at one month old. she arrived stressed, but safe, and very hungry. i'd say, no younger than that, though.

The general rule is to only ship fish that are over 1 inch long.
